Synereo, A Steemit Rival Will Launch WildSpark on June 30th.
Today as I check cryptocurrencies activities on my Twitter account what attracts my attention the most is on how Synereo is holding a count down on the Beta launch of their first publicly available product which is WildSpark.
The image above is how they issue the update saying that it is only 8 days to go and Wildspark will be in Beta stage. WildSpark is also set to be the first product to use the AMP coin, the currency issued by Synereo.
Wildspark is the rebranded QRator. Synereo deemed it necessary to change the name even though they like the pun in the name QRator. Wildspark will not only be on curation alone but on the adventurous nature of "attention economy" thus sparks like that of wild fireflies on quality content will be created.
According to Synereo’s Co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer Anderson McCutcheon
“WildSpark is the first publicly available product that makes use of the ‘AMP,’ Synereo’s digital currency. WildSpark addresses the fact that content and its creators are bound by the monetization methods and strict guidelines mandated by a few large mega-corporations.”
Much like Steemit, WildSpark will make content monetization easier by providing content creators and curators authority on the process. People who created and shared the content will be rewarded with AMP tokens thereby influencing creation and sharing of high quality content.

Step 2: Register for the Beta with a verified Google account email address
Step 3: Follow the instructions you will get via the email.
To all Steemians what I suggest is to just observe how this new platform will unfold. The best way for the steemit community to develop is to welcome competitors like this so we can improve the community as open market demands or dictates to do so. I could say that WildSpark is too far behind with what Steemit has already achieved, but take a closer look and don't get caught ourselves sleeping. As long as Steemit community remains vigilant, it will always remain as the top honcho of the pack.

I also think this is great news. As you said, competition will help all parties involved to improve features and strengthen communities. Media attention will also start to hit as they grow in size and the concept of monetization for curation of content spreads. It's a great time to be alive for sure.

Yes, Synereo is on the same industry with steemit being a decentralized social network. I am already on their mailing list, so I can get in and see how it goes... I am inside just to observe and get more info/updates. As I would like to focus most of my time with steemit, I have a 9 to 5 job at the moment that I need to be wise where I would spend my time.

Yes... just being aware alone is well worth it, at least we know who are the real threats to steemit's crown at the moment.

reddcoin said they would have a steemit compeotitor its WAyharder than it sounds and NOON will be able to dow hat we have done with steemit NOONE
it will not work, maybe as integratn with an existing network like facebook ro twiter buttheyll use their ownprivate crypto currency

Reddcoin is more about integrating their cryptocoin in existing platforms. So the rise of Steemit isn't very good news for Reddcoin.

I do think their graphic design is superior. Steemit needs to race to catch up. We need facebook style notifications and much more robust formatting capabilities for our blogs. I'll be paying attention to this new platform
