Steemit makes me look bad before society! you know why?

Hello dear friends, you may wonder why steemit makes me look bad before society? How can it be possible that this wonderful platform that has changed our lives could cause some kind of damage? - I already tell you why.

I live in a neighborhood where my neighbors get up at 5 in the morning every day to sweep the front of their houses, which in the end they do not achieve because they get distracted by their neighbors who also get up at that same time.
The objective of sweeping the front of their houses is never fulfilled, because instead of sweeping, they begin to exchange information among themselves (here in Venezuela it is called chismosear).

But well, you may wonder what this has to do with the other? It turns out that a couple of months ago I quit my job to dedicate myself to work in #steemit full time. In the last 2 months my income due to the rewards of steemit has exceeded by very much my income of 1 whole year in my ordinary and old employment.

Then some people in my neighborhood wonder how did that girl to buy that kitchen from her mom? Or comment where did you get the money to buy that new phone? And all kinds of foolish and misplaced questions. To all those questions I always respond with a single word: #steemit.

And they do not understand what Steemit is and even though I explain it to them over and over again, they think it's a game, except for some friends who have taken it seriously as it should be. When I tell them that money can be generated through the internet, people look at me weird and some even call me a liar. They only think the worst of me, they think that what I say is a kind of money laundering and that the money that I actually earn comes from other sources and you can imagine what I mean. That makes me very angry!

At the end of the day, steemit makes me look bad before society, and what? I do not care.

Honestly, steemit is the best thing that has happened to me in recent months. I have many things to thank you for.
