Although it wasn't the first Football/Soccer game with fully 3D graphics, that is earned by Virtua Striker, FIFA 98 it is unlike its predecessors which were in 2D and showed a bird's-eye view, the first World Cup video game contained full 3D graphics, plus accurate national team kits, logos and official merchandise. and the game as well as the spirit project for FIFA of Equality, was launched multi platform, than mean it was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation, Nintendo 64 and Game Boy.
