We can rebrand Steemit into a similar linkedin! What do you think?

Ever since i started writing yesterday, i have gained some momentum in writing and posting. As a PR professional, i like to observe social networks and of course, steemit is one. Another similar network is Medium. But steemit has a monetisation model through upvotes on content. Hence, it has been great fun observing steemit and the steem economy (steem and steem dollars).

I have been reading and one of my observations is that steemians don't seem to interact a lot in posts and comments. And upvotes are mostly robots. Maybe they genuinely like the post but have no comments on those posts. But looking at the posts, My gut feel number like number of comments/number of upvotes seems pretty low. My ball park figure is lesser than 1%. And frankly speaking, much lower than my facebook account. I can post something in my facebook and i would have like 60 likes from friends and 30+ comments from personal friends. This is strange given that there are incentives for comments to gain upvotes at steemit and there are none at facebook. And of course, the biggest difference is that facebook friends are friends whom we interact with in personal life and at steemit, it is mainly a group of strangers who got together and try to gain some upvotes and earn some steem and steem dollars from posted content.

Hence, i kinds of conclude that the social capital is severely lacking at steemit.

But, it seems that steemit has a huge advantage over facebook in a certain respect.

And it is human capital. You may want to ask WHY and WHAT!?

A personal observation of mine is that there seems to be an abundance of artists, comics artists, writers, scientists, entrepreneurs, programmers, crypto experts, etc on steemit and the steem economy. And this means multiple talents available at steemit.

This also means abundant human capital at steemit.

Many talents at steemit showcasing their talents, in particular the artists. In this retrospect, steemit is actually very much more like linkedin than facebook, since at linkedin, it is also a group of strangers and it is also a group of professionals interacting with each other.

My proposition is this: Why not rebrand steemit into linkedin?
