Bilene Mozambique
Bilene Beach or simply Bilene is municipality and Mozambican beach village located 145 km northeast of Maputo, on the shores of the Uembje Lagoon, which is separated from the Indian Ocean by a narrow strip of dunes.
The main economic activity of the village is tourism, for which it has several tourist facilities, also benefiting from the fact that it is the nearest beach in Maputo accessible by paved road.
Administratively, Bilene Beach is an administrative post in the district of Bilene, Gaza province, and since May 2013 also a municipality.
