I am a former Reddit addict
Thanks Steemit! I have found a new place to obsess over. Reddit seems so plain vanilla now, and boring, why put the effort commenting and up voting over "there" when you can do it here and be rewarded. BUT NOT ONLY THAT there is something special going on here and I want to be part of it. THANKS! Steemit for giving me a new community to be part of.

I feel exactly the same way! I'm still a Reddit user as it's still a nascent community here. But once Steemit goes big, I'm done with Reddit. I just hope now that they market it well!
Even Facebook now seems old fashioned. I know Steemit has a lot to do to add features in the future, but I'm addicted to it already.
Haha Facebook is 'old fashioned' since a long time imo.
The only good think about Facebook is everyone is on there. And privacy. That's about it.
