Steemit as a brick for a better world. ...Hello from Germany!

Hi, I'm AKNOT from Germany and just found a link and a short description a couple of days ago in a German bitcoin blog. Although I do not yet fully understand all concepts in detail, I am really convinced, that steemit is a sign of a world that is in progress and keeps changing all the time.

Despite all the bad news and desperate voices of people telling, that the end of the world is nearby and that everything is getting worse and that the "great western society" will be ruined in just a couple of years for me things like steemit are very valuable sign for that this is absolutely untrue. Maybe a little sign, but a signe, just like bitcoin was some years ago and still is.

We are not heading to an absolute end, where nothing won't change anymore, no, everything will ever be in motion. That's evolution! And it won't stop never.

There were some bad news in Germany the last days, as they are in the whole world anytime. That makes many people desperate and also hateful. But instead of hating, which won't help anyone, all should stand together in such times and help each other and I am sure that platforms like steemit can help doing this, because it motivates people to get in contact with each other all over the world and reduces the borders between them.

I am an engineer, and tech nerd. I love the bitcoin concept, which in my eyes will have many positive impacts on our world, especially in the "not 1st world" regions and steemit is another great project which gives and derives value from other things than stocks, financial "services" or fancy cars, but from art, great ideas and good stories.

So, just some words from me. Hello to you and let's see how this thing evolves and what everyone can contribute :-)
