Current Steem Performance
Steem is putting up a tough fight at the moment. It seems determined not to slip below the $0.40 mark and it's doing a damn good job of it so far. There was one brief moment where it dropped to $0.39 earlier in the week but it soon climbed back over the $0.40 line again.

As you can see from the daily graph Steem is down fractionally from yesterday and currently trading at $0.43. You can also see from the graph that it is a very rocky time at the moment, just take a look at that zigzag pattern, things are very unsettled right now.
This pattern is somewhat reflected when we take a look at the weekly trading graph below. You will see a similar pattern. Overall Steem is down 5% on last week, reflecting a $0.05 drop in price. Most of this can be explained by the fact that Bitcoin is also experiencing a bumpy ride at the moment, it seems since the crash we witnessed a couple of weeks ago that Bitcoin just can not settle down.

However, given all the red we are seeing in the market at the moment it is unsurprising that Steem is where it finds itself. This all makes it very difficult to decipher what direction Steem will move in next. Sadly our much hoped for Altcoin season hasn't happened and it's very unlikely now it will. Working out what Steem will do next is almost impossible!

It seems like the "Santa Clause Rally" is becoming less and less likely... and with it, the chance to see $1.00 Steem again in 2021. Overall, it feels like the current bull run is ending with a whimper, rather than a bang.
That's what people thought when BTC dropped to $30k a few months ago, hope is the last thing we should lose!

I actually see this as a opportunity , i have even wrote a post on it. It is a good time for someone who wants to invest in steem.

It's a good time to buy and hold STEEM.
Everything is starting to feel a decline and this can not be denied.
The entire Crypto market is going through a blood bath , but always remember those who are here at the time of blood bath they are the ones who enjoy once the blood bath is gone and wounds are healed.
I like it when the price goes up and I also like it when the price goes down to buy more steem
It has been a tough time generally for crypto and its great to see Steem still holding about above that 40 cent mark.
We're all still hoping prices will take a turnaround and gives a blissful December celebration 😃
