Since Curation is such an important and widely misunderstood concept, I added some graphics to an old steemit image to make an updated rough Infographic to illustrate the Curation Rewards.

Here it is, I tried to represent how Curation rwards work amnd how steemit can actualy "afford" to pay people to Upvote good content!

And hey I just got a nearly $100 reward today!
This makes for two things to celebrate!

AND on top of the $100 steemit rewards, I just realized I have 2555 followers! I'm happy to have passed the 2500 follower milestone and now its off to 3000 and then straight to 10,000! All it takes are some super popular posts with a few thousand upvotes and a high follower turnover rate, and I could gain a thousand followers for every few pots I do! So If i really try hard i could do it!

I bet if I pulled a stunt like flying to the Philipines to hangout with @CryptoPie I could do it! But seriously I want to really help this guy, he is dealing with some of the worst stuff a human being on this planet can deal with and still posting to steemit! Medical problems and pain and sure there may be people even worse off than him but I believe his messages on Steemit have proven his willpower strong enough to deserve both the surgeries he needs to continue basic survival, improve his life with Videogames and Virtual reality goggles, and get painkillers he honestly needs, because this is why we have opiates, so that unnecessary human suffering does not have to go on needlessly! I hope he has enough to buy the pain killers he needs so he can relax and enjoy his time online and watch movies etc I want to make sure he has a big HDTV and speakers to enjoy the movie with!

Anyway on that note of helping people, here is a Dome Home in Florida which will be going through another big test! Every house in this man's block has been replaced but his is still standing! we will see what happens and I believe more people should simply sacrifice the extra money and build hurricane resistant strong dome homes like this!

I hadn't posted yesterday and I believe I was simply freeing up the reward pool for people to post about the hurricane! I hope all of our Florida Crypto people are doing ok! I had to just stop using steemit while I chatted in steemspeak.com discord so i could allow my voting power to recharge! I heard some very interesting stories by @fyrstikken (which means fire stick or match stick in norway language ) And there's a lot of funny interesting characters in there go check it out, I even heard some way cool secret news and updates about Steemit like upcoming steemit App and the treasure chest of moneys ready for marketing whenever we get the steem blockchain ready! remember that its STILL in beta! All of these children running around whining about how steemit and steem blockchain aren't perfect yet, well they are just children and we should all remember how amazing steemit already has become working as a decentralized blockchain company an autonomous decentralized organization type model which hasn't ever been used before and its a miracle its even WORKING its almost never ever down i mean i go onto steemit isn't always working and yet we use poloniex or other websites they may go down, i mean reddit it will be down for a while and yet steemit is always up, we also have ways tio access steemit incase steemit.com is down its just so incredible what's going to happen soon!

Im at over 2500 followers and I JUST got 2000 Steempower next post about that soon! I just hope you can learn from my infographic about curation curation is so important! Rent steempower in order to profit from curation if you want to see how profitable it can be while using a sizable amount of steempower. But just keep posting and find good content to share here if you want to earn your way up the food chain! I just think curation is a great bonus on top of the already amazing bonus of author rewards, for posts AND comments, so when u hear about curation its just another amazing way to make money on steemit, but its really a fundamental part of how steemit works and most users ignore it until they start to understand how they can make money being a curator which simply means actively hunting through the new sections of steemit to look for good high quality posts that noone else has upvoted yet!

And you know what it is! Join my san diego steemit club my commenting below if you're in San Diego so we can make San Diego one of the leading crypto cities, all we need to do is get everyone here using Bitcoin and Steemit and our work is done! The rest will happen naturally! As people see how useful bitcoin is for large purchases and how useful Steemit is for small purchases, people will start organically using them! Steemit is even easier and better and faster and cheaper than Bitcoin so we will have people using Steemit to buy things on Craigslist for example, or to mediate transactions on the nextdoor app or other local apps! People will LOVE using steemit for craigslist because it makes the transaction pubic open and it makes it hard for scammers when you have everything out in the open!

And look, as bitcoin becomes more popular and more human beings use it all over the world IT becomes intrinsically more valuable and more useful! The same is true for steemit so as more people use steemit then the steem cryptocurrency feature of steemit will become MORE useful because everyone will be using it! Just like how venmo or paypal become useful in a utilitarian sense because everyone started to use it! The ability to send and receive up to Millions of US dollars worth of steem for free if you wanted, all under 2 minutes time, is very underrated! Steem is undervalued! And on steem blockchain you have no limitations like every other money transfer system! And the price of steem steadily going up will also be a way to avoid inflation and see steem as an investment, the price of steem is of course a little volatile while steemit is in beta and not ready yet! And imagine just using steemit as a money transfer tool, then u logging one day, take a look at the posts and decide to make a simple post talking about your positive experience with steemit and you end up on the trending page with a $500 post! PayPal can't do that! so steemit will become so popular just wait! It's going to take a few hard forks but every update we go through as a network brings so much positive change so it's only improving!

Steem Blockchain is a complex machine with many moving parts! So much code and so many nodes and witnesses and so it's a miracle that it's all working this smoothly with this many people making this many posts comments upvotes and transactions etc, I am really grateful to get to HAVE all of this stuff for FREE without ever once having to pay a Tax or a FEE!!! So I want to thank all the people who spend their time keeping this well oiled machine working! Sometimes Steem blockchain feels like a new experimental engine that's being perfected and yeah it works like a new jet engine attached to an old ww2 piston plane, it makes the plane fly fast and seems to work great but its still fuel hungry and inefficient and could be perfected so steem has all sorts of working parts to work on! And this takes time and the steemit inc people these people are perfectionists I believe, they want steemit to work perfectly to interact with the steem blockchain (which steemit.com allows us to interface with) and they want to make sure its ready before they erect massive virtual billboards and get millions to join but when they do it's going to be an "I told you so" moment for people who saved up steem! Oooh our steempower will also be so much more impressive when steem jumps from $1 to $10 and our 10 cent upvote is now more like a $1 upvote! Yeah then it won't look so inconsequential will it? Yeaahhh it's going to be a big party and only people with steem will be invited!
