Steemit Spam Report 8.21.17 | Watch out for this potential scam, and oh my...So much spam.
Steemit Spam Update: More Spammers Discovered, Appropriate Actions Taken. Steemians, Take Action! Here are today's findings on the awesome platform of Steemit, with a load of spammers. We need some bigger people helping out with the spam to get rid of them, muting them simply isn't enough.
Seems like we have some repeat spammers...Surprise surprise. But, it looks like we have a few new fishies as well.

Here you can see the typically spammer in his or her natural habitat asking for upvotes...
Now, we have another typical spammer asking for a follow. UGH.
Looks like we have mr. @cornholio making a satanic spam post that is making me cry.
Now here is where things get a little more suacy, as you can see, we see the spammer in his or her natural habitat, linking his or her post to get "free" bitcoins. It seems like a scam, stay away from it, and yes, I flagged this person, as you should do the same.

I have met few people asking for upvotes and follow. Are those spammers?
Just look at their comments section in their blog. If they are repeating the same thing over and over then yes, they are spammers.

The platform is new to me, I see it providing alot of potential to grow my online presence. And upvotes and followers is what I would like.
But at the same time I enjoy what I write about would most likely write what I write either way. But getting people who acknolagy they see what I write about is a plus for me.
I only hope I wont end up on this list.
Don't spam, earn your upvotes and follows naturally. And I use linux too btw

Not really, there is so much spam on steemit that you can find it just about anywhere
