Steemit Iron-Chef Round 06 fruit of my town.
This is my second entry in Steemit Iron-Chef for this entry I make a sweet of Lechoza (Papaya)
One of the most typical sweets in Venezuela is the sweet lechoza (papaya) in a house should not miss a bush of Lechoza.
The sweet is prepared with green lechoza, peeled and left in water with baking soda, and left for several hours. Then the lechozas are placed with water and sugar to cook. And vanilla is added.
This sweet is cooked for several hours. To vary and not only present the sweet I decided to use it as a topping for some cupcakes.
To make the sweet we need:
- lechuza (papaya)
-sugar - water
- sodium bicarbonate
- vanilla
Thanks for the support
I love the papaya sweet! a hug @denissemata

Hi again my friend! Oh wow! Green papaya cooked with sugar...this sounds interesting! In my country, very rare people use green papaya in the kitchen...it is always the ripe ones!
The main recipe I have been doing up to now is the green papaya salad Thai style!
Thanks for sharing!
