Another day of Joy!

Those battle-weary faces, dark-circled eyes, and over-fatigue body as a result of sleepless nights of studying were all worth it. We're very happy of the result, extremely happy! We won as 1st runner-up of Institute of Electronics Engineering of the Philippines (IECEP) Inter-scholarstic Quiz show 2017.

As a result, guess what?

We're going to the Nationals!

The top two teams are automatically qualified to compete on IECEP National Quiz Show 2017 which will be held in Manila, Philippines this upcoming November 21 - 24, 2017. This means Cebu Technological University (Champions) and University of Cebu Lapulapu and Mandaue (1st runner-up) will be the representative of Region 7 chapter. What a delightful feeling! Being in Manila, competing with the finest of the country gives me an extreme feeling of satisfaction. This will be the greatest achievement I got in my college competition career.

The crowd Loved the Show

The crowd seemed to be hyped on the event, cheering their schools. They were also hyped on the prizes from Trivia prizes, plus the school who answered the questions correctly.

I'll share you another overwhelming news, guess what?

We are all products of Steemit! This is a big coincidence, and I think this is a great news for Steemit. Steemit-Engineering students competing to the nationals. Plus, I am currently working for the final touches of our Steemit-Engineering shirt to be distributed among Engineering Steemians here in our university!

Steemit is indeed a big influence. Not only on me and @themanualbot's part, but the team are also engaging Steemit. This danger-free platform is so wonderful, and we're bringing Steemit. Not only in Cebu but for the upcoming Nationals soon.

I got some spare Steemit pins from our 4th Steemit Campaign which was sponsored by Tom @donkeypong, and had the chance to give it to them. I still have some here, see you guys this Sunday for the World Food Day ! :D

I still have some here, and I'm about to print some pins for the World Food Day. So if you want to join, come with us! Of course, there will be no fees asked, all we need is just your presence to help us in distributing the food to our less fortunate children. Just please bring your own food because the food will be intended for the children.

A Chance to meet Manila Steemians! (Steemfest Philippines, maybe?)

I got the chance to talk with @bearone, one of the @Steemph core. A little chitchat about the said victory, and she has the full support in organizing it. So there will be a meet-up that will happen, and that made it more exciting to go to manila!
