UpVoting causes degrading on potential rewards.
Am I the only one noticing this or anyone of you too? I recently upvoted some posts on the trending area and instead of increasing the reward for the author, my votes cast negative rewards for them. Here is my example.

As you can see, i never upvoted this Post yet. The potential reward is 5088$

And aftet I upvoted this Posts, the potential reward for the author decreases to 4974$
This is not the only post I upvoted, I think almost on the trending area and most of them getting negative rewards from my votes.
Can anyone explain it to me or its just an isolated issue on my account. Thanks.
If you look at any of the figures shown next to any post and continually hit refresh, you will see it fluctuate. This is by-the-minute activity which I noticed on my own posts yesterday. The way I tend to think of it is like a water table that constantly rises and falls throughout the day, and think of content that gets posted as the ground that the water table saturates. Depending on how much it rains on the whole area (not just where you're standing), you will see it rise and fall on all posts regularly.
So its really because of the fluctuation of Steem's value? How about when the reward is given out to the author? Does fluctuation of the Steem still on effect?
The way I'm picking it up is that it effects all numbers. When you look at all your posts together in your profile, if one goes up/down, so do all your other posts. I haven't actively checked other peoples' profiles to see if it happens at the same time as mine, but I definitely will now.
I've noticed that the value of your posts go down as the coin value of Steem goes down. I noticed it because I only have a few cents and it has gone down throughout the day as the value of Steem on the Exchanges has gone down. Seeing how I only have a few cents that's why I can see it. 😂
Really? I thought its independent on the price of the Steem or Steem Dollars since the reward is still pending until such time reaches for the payout. And to add, Steem's value rises from 400k sats to 680k sats and thats 24hr period of volatility.
Idk. I noticed the value going down because my .21 went to .19 throughout the day. Who knows????
Now it's 0.17
I've had that happen a few times, not sure what the reason is.
