This is not a joke.

To buy a part of steem island all you have to do is transfer the amount of steem you want to contribute to the steem island account (@beep). @beep is an account that I set up for a friend, he made one post, and got discouraged with the response he got. He's a get rich quick kind of guy. Don't worry he doesn't have the password lol. All the Steem collected will be held in steem power so that all contributors can keep an eye on it.

After we collect at least 1000 steem I will form a corporation named steem island. The Corporation will be owned by all the people who put in steem. 1 steem will equal 1 share. All the steem held in the Steem Island account (@beep) will be held in trust for steem island and for everyone who has contributed steem. If for some reason this does not work out in one year's time period, then everyone will be returned 100% of their contribution.

Once we have enough steem in the account to buy the island then no more contributions will be accepted under any circumstance. If and when the account becomes overfunded the last people putting in the steem that created the overfunding Will be refunded.

I will be the CEO of steem island corporation. Then there will be 5 more officers - V.P., Second V.P. etc. These people will be the top 5 contributors 1 being the largest contribution, 2 being the second largest contribution and so on.

There will also be 10 people appointed to the Steem Island Corporation board of directors. These people will be the first 10 people that contribute 100 steem or more. So if you want to be on the board make sure you are one of the first 10 people to contribute at least 100 steem!

Contributions must be made in increments of 1 steem. 1 steem is the minimum contribution.

I love you man, but considering my political and real estate experience.... as well as my work here and IRL with social justice issues, I have seen the damage done by people with money and not the right skills to run things

This has been demonstrated time and again here on Steemit, which you are tying to the project.

There are some great people on Steemit and some very very nice people and whales.

Too often here and IRL, real damage is done by people with $$ stake, and no real names, personas, experience or vision and some are flat out mean and abusive, which fits the sociopath clinical profile.

You would think being in the legal profession, you would have plenty of experience in some of this stuff I am saying.

This is constructive criticism. This is not a shot at anyone, but I give you the flagging abuse on here by people with money and the inability to deal with real people and real problems.

Even the fact you asked me to view this today, with no other msgs privately, with my wealth of real estate, land planning and political community experience shows the money is what is value here at the top positions, which are the most important.

The rest of the appointments are token appointments with very little power and likely none, because the $$ stakeholders like usual will run things and the minions (appointments) will go along with what they say, no matter if it is RIGHT or not, for the long term plans or sustainability.

Not something that is likely good planning.
