Crazy ideas get me excited, this bike is definitely a thing that excites me. 3D printed everything if you ask me, easily made with efficiency. Light Rider made by Apworks in Germany is the next generation electric bike with style.
Light Rider Specs
Weighs 35 kg
Goes up to 80 km/h
0 - 45 km/h in 3 s
60 km
exchangeable battery
The whole frame is made out of Scalmalloy. This aircraft grade aluminum offers the specific strength of titanium and is unequaled in 3D printing. Please see this video presentation.

This is great, I'm impressed is the material they use, I did not know the Scalmalloy. More and more products that can be printed on 3D machines are definitely amazing.
Congratulations!

Pros:
Cons:
While this is cool, there are definitely cons. Range, the need for welds due to the printers having too small build size, lack of cargo capacity, and using chain drive rather than motors in the wheels/direct drive increases loss of efficiency and complexity.
Wish they'd release the build files so that folks could adapt the design and improve it.
Thanks for the inputs. I really don't know much about the mechanical things. Releasing the build files would be great.
that's great, like star trek replicator.
Great but very expensive
