The world’s first pair of sneakers with soles made from chewing gum. The soles of these shoes by Gumsole are made from chewing gum scraped from the streets of Amsterdam. In the Netherlands, 1.5 tonnes of gum ends up on the street every year, making chewing gum the second most common litter after cigarettes. Without an alternative use, the gum normally ends up in landfills after numerous labour hours spent getting them off the streets.
Thanks to Science, this gum can now be recycled and remanufactured into a new type of rubber, which is then refashioned into a stylish shoe. Very cool concept! And very good for the environment too.
Officially, this makes Gumshoe the sole solution for a sticky problem.

wow this is insane , generating wealth out of waste is an amazing concept.
Pros :
Reasonably priced
solves a real life problem
Eco friendly
can boost awareness among people.
Cons :
Yeah that's right. There's still a leather upper so it's not completely environmentally friendly. But a step in the right direction nonetheless, and showing that fashion can be way more sustainable too!
Dat felling , when u live in Crimea, and nobody will take this shoe for u. Nice shoes))
Yep, hard to get it outside of amsterdam for now
