Wizard Mirror is an open-source Electronjs app, that can give a regular mirror mysterious powers with the help of a Raspberry Pi!

probably gonna need a lot of work but if your looking to use a raspberry pi as a standalone box to monitor things might be cheaper to build your own modules and use this as a starting block, don't know how good the code is thou. tread carefully! :)
