hard to believe it's been a year since they released this, i'd be interested to know how big the network in the neatherlands has grown in that time -- i know they have a bunch of new hardware that's just come out that might help you connect your sensors, probes and switches, just check out the noSIM6 for instance.

if you have not heard about LoRaWAN before and you love technology and live somewhere high up (apartment block) you might wanna experiment and build something similar out to the people around you, it's a pretty cool iOT framework of devices.
