today's little quest has been a real eye opener. it seems for every major or cool little application i used to use i can find a similar application just like it, which is amazing! - i never knew you could get so much cool stuff via open source for free and it's regularly updated -- of course it makes sense to pay a little bit of money here and there for the people that are updating these things because without that they don't update it or make it better, so don't forget that, because i'll certainly be paying a little something to use it! :)

especially when the mac version cost me what it did! :)
