I have a personal obsession with maker spaces, having used one-week in and week out the excitement of wanting to get back there every week was real, i even had my own wood stash so i could design in the week (on free open source software) and get back there, i had these massive big ideas for designs too ;)

that's most certainly true and if you check out this whole intergrated platform that bitspace does you will see that they have even got it down to the way the space should be formatted -- it's an absolute no brainer for kids, they love this stuff and it's great for adults to make fresh new stuff too.
