Personally, I think that contests which require upvoting and resteeming are not ethical. By all means, organize as many contests you want but do not ask for payment.
That’s a greedy approach, especially those contests which reward only the SBD payout of a post.
They’re a con. A con born from greed. Period.
Organizer wins, wins more than just visibility. That’s not a contest for me, that’s pure greed.
Double standards for sure. Because you cant win if you dont do alllll that they ask. I love Steemit. What a problem huh? At least no censorship yet!!

I don’t see the double standards in that.
Everyone is free to think of those contests how they want.
I’m very consistent in how I think about them.
At Steemhunt though we are against them and users running contests with as aim to get more upvotes on their hunts will be blacklisted because such mechanics are a way to climb the daily rankings not organically.
