The important thing that gives us information about certain number of things which we then use as a point of reference is statistic. Statistic are factual things about specific things, people, country. These statistics can be about population, life expectancy of different countries, rich and poor people, etc.
Gapminder is a web application specifically created to give information about these data.
Statistics are not easy for people to understand and Gapminder understands this and uses photos as data to give the numbers meaning.

Gapminder helps you know statistics of population, life expectancy, and numbers of rich and poor people of different countries. There is a video named “How To Use” in the menu bar so that you can use the tool to know about data provided by Gapminder web application. The site has various other tools that you can use to understand everything.
