Mixamo is a poweful tool which automatically rigs your character and animates them. You can choose from hundreds of animations according to your choice and apply them in your project and work on them rapidly. This is a great tool for learning or using them according to your needs. Every animations are motion captured, hence they are very smooth. And it is a free service.
