RE: Philyra - Artificial intelligence to create new fragrances
Hi @urbangladiator. IBM's main product lines are more on server hardware and IT consulting services so this new AI app they created is not lined up with their "regular" products and services. I think it has the same logic as my previous hunt: https://steemhunt.com/@macoolette/bmw-intelligent-personal-asst-ai-inspired-intelligent-digital-assistant-on-board-bmw-cars wherein the intelligent personal assistant can not be lined up with the cars so it was launched through BMW's official blog site.
In regards to availability, I quote this statement from the product link.
Symrise used Philyra to design two perfumes, scheduled to launch in mid-2019, for O Boticário, one of the top global beauty companies.
With this, I believe Philyra app is already available, tested and used.
I hope you can reconsider the link. Thank you.
Hi @macoolette, that all makes sense. When you say that the Philyra app is already available... do you have any links for that? I wasn't able to find it anywhere.
Thanks!
I'm not sure if you were notified by my previous reply because it seems that I replied at the wrong comment level. Anyway, the statement I quoted above is on the product link, sixth paragraph, under the photo with caption "Symrise Master Perfumer David Apel samples fragrances..."
Thank you for all of this @macoolette, I really appreciate the extra effort to explain a product that kind of sits in the grey area of the Steemhunt Posting Guide... it does all sound amazing though!
Thank you too for taking time with the clarifications.
