The exTEN 2X PCR Master Mix is a special premixed polymerase chain reaction blend which is made up of dNTPs, Magnesium chloride, Taq DNA Polymerase, a proofreading enzyme and reaction buffer for the creation of multiple copies of DNA templates. Since a 3' 5' exonuclease (proofreading) ability is added, it improves the efficiency in the creation of multiple copies of DNA templates with the use of a lower error rate of misincorporated nucleotides when compared to Taq DNA polymerase alone.

The exTEN 2X PCR Master Mix yields better results and reproduces longer DNA fragments. By reducing the amount of pipetting steps required for setting up a polymerase chain reaction, the exTEN 2X PCR Master Mix is of immense help in the task of reducing the risk of contamination as well as help to save time.
