You'll probably never experience flying in space during your lifetime but with VR you can at least simulate the experience.

Elite: Dangerous in VR delivers a sense of immersion in space that can't be matched by a 2D screen with a mouse and keyboard.

Played in VR with a VR headset you have a 360 degree view of the cockpit of your starship.

Things to do in he game

There are 3 basic possibilities:

  • trading
  • exploring the 400 billion old galaxy
  • combat (multiplayer available)

    Pros:

    • People can often feel motion sickness with VR because your body feels like it should be moving when it actually isn't... so any VR experience where you're sitting is definitely ideal.
    • The graphics look unreal! Very good for VR.
    • Looks really, really exciting... some dude spent a month building the company logo in deep space.

    Cons:

    • To really play it well, you'd have to spend a lot on all the gear... still might totally be worth it though.

    This is a great hunt that you made there @direwolf. Below are my personal opinion toward this hunt.

    Pros:

    • It has awesome graphics that a player love the most
    • It is a shooting type of a game that you will survive until it finish
    • It needs your strategy skills so that you will gain more power

    Cons:

    • None so far for this hunt
