UjuziKilimo is Swahili for Smart Farming, and a local Kenyan Start-up (UjuziKilimo) has taken up the challenge to address climate change through the use of IoT devices to provide farmers with predictive information on soil and weather conditions to help them plan better and increase yield.
Pros
- Through the use of sensors ,farmers are able to get soil and farm data in realtime thus enabling the practise of sustainable agriculture.
- Allows even the least of us to play apart in climate change adaptation and mitigation through climate smart farming.
- Using mobile technology farmers are able to share information and knowledge among themselves.
- Incorporates machine learning and data analytics for the benefit of farmers and service providers through generation of insights.
Pros - A large proportion of rural farmers are yet to catch the flow on climate smart farming, making adoption of IoT devices in agriculture slow.

I like the gardening and agricultural devices, and like better, what is useful :) And this is it!
In our country, where we say, we have advanced agriculture, not everybody care about the quality of soil, and not make the plan with the right information, but their imaginations. And then start the crying, if something is wrong...

:point_right:I'm sure your hunt is undervalued and it's right to get help to crawl up to the better ranking (at least to TOP 100). Why ?, because i think it's "COOL".:point_left:

it's interesting on how this product / tech can help to check the soil conditions, and directly (min 2 minutes) send the notification sms for the client.
I hope we can use it globally too :grin:
