Halifax online sharedealing is owned by Halifax Bank UK.
This is an online sharedealing platform that allows you to buy and sell shares and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) that are listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
All trades incur a flat fee of £12.50 and occasionally they have days where the fee drops to just £3.95. Any shares you buy are held in the account, and you receive dividends on them.
To fund the account you just need to load your money in using a debit card. Withdrawing money is similarly easy.
If you are already a Halifax customer, setting up the share dealing account is quick and easy. If you are not a Halifax customer you will need to verify your identity.

I prefer exchanges that charge a flat fee for trading instead of a percentage amount. That way, if you do a large trade the costs are low. I wonder when share exchanges like this iwll start to offer cryptocurrency trading?
