Mitmproxy has always been a great tool for developers to do debugging, testing, privacy measurements, and penetration testing. Any application will need penetration testing done before it reaches production. With your development environment setup, it can be quite challenging to do penetration testing. Mitmproxy is a great tool for carrying out penetration testing.
You will be able to easily identify if there are any privacy issues in the application that you build. An application can be considered reliable only if it passes penetration testing and provides successful results.
Above are the three ways in which Mitmproxy can be used. This provides great support mainly for many open source projects. Mitmproxy is also an open source tool available for free of cost.
