You ever hit the "writer's block"? That excuse people use to not write something?
"Don't stop typing, or all progress will be lost." With this writing app, there will be no writer's block. Set a timer anywhere from 3 minutes to a whopping one hour where you must type type type away lest all your progress is lost.
This app probably uses the saying of "the only cure to a writer's block is to just write." Which forces you to write down whatever you can think of to the point of typing from your subconsciousness (it'll happen once you try it long enough).
Designed by Manuel Ebert as a side project, this app is free to use for everyone. No download or widget is needed.
The interface is squeaky clean with no distraction other than a timer (which looks like a line on the top of the page). Depending on what mode you are using the app, you get to see what you are typing or nothing at all - trust me, Hardcore mode typing isnt that hard and you'd be surprised with how much you can type and how decent you type if you can't see what you're typing.
Stop typing, however, and the screen starts to "bleed" with a red vignette as a warning. if typing does not continue within the next 5 seconds, all your progress is gone. Everything you've type. With no way of recovering your efforts.
This app encourages writers to type continuously to hack your mind into a "flow state" where you do not think too much about what you are typing. Effectively switching your mind to the faster System 1 rather than the usual slower conscious-effort thinking when typing.
Try it out, step up your game. You'd be surprised with what you can do when you are pressured into writing fast.
P.S. thanks bro @maverickfoo for initially introducing me to this tool. 50% of this hunt reward will go to you.

Thanks! the "kick" doesn't come everyday but it does strike me once in a while.
Yep, its only fair to share since i wouldn't know this stuff if he didn't intro it to me in the first place.
Give it a try! you'd be surprised how well you can type under some beneficial duress.

its what practice is for! no worries in getting your writing wiped out in private.. eheh..
Pros:
Cons:
I guess it should be okay once you know how to type fast enough. Since it takes 5 seconds to lose everything, as long as the typer doesnt think too much and just let the fingers dance it will be okay.
I tried once typing for 5 minutes on the app with my mind fully blank, i dont even think about what i type. turns out pretty good!
Pros: easy to use / storage
Cons: none so far
