This is a technology of the future. It is an autonomous crawling robot that is controlled remotely. It is a robotic technology in the medical industry that is used inside the human body. It structure and size allows it to remain in the body for long periods and also easily pass through tight spaces.
The big idea behind the ViRob device is that it can be used to deliver pharmaceutical payloads to precise locations or pull a microcatheter through tortuous terrain.

This reminds me of those tiny Spider robots that were sent to look for Tom Cruise in Minority Report.
It will be interesting to see how Robotics gets combined with Medicine.

Very interesting robot. It seems this robot can be very useful in the medical industry but also might be dangerous if some bad guy have the control over this tiny thing.
