Hi @penderis… I read your post with interest and still trying to absorb what potential benefit this may have upon 'improving' things. For 'certain'... major changes 'need' to be put into place if this Steemit/Steem thing survives.

... this is art.int's post I just resteemed it :) This one is tricky though but does point out the additional parameters the chain may need to avoid a single party from just buying control, it also tries to account for the obvious problem which is the user, users are a security threat to the chain. You should also read @rucharde post on it and specifically the comments , this one https://steempeak.com/@valued-customer does a good job of giving a simple breakdown of what we are aiming for as we all bash our heads in thinking of a better system and obviously at large not having a say but it is something to do haha.
Yeah...I'm not stressing over anything here regarding this quagmire. I'm just sitting back, making changes to the way I 'use' this platform, with no apologies or fear of repercussions.

Hi there, you're right, major changes need to be put in place if Steem survives this.
Good chance it will be back to "business as usual" if we win this thing though, and all this longing for change will be swept under the rug by the same people we pushed to the top witness places.
As @penderis said, a lot of people are thinking about this, for my part it's only for the fun of imagining new systems of governance, I am a nobody on the Steem blockchain and I don't plan to get involved in governance in any way.
