RE: Introduction to Steemhost.com
Hello friend I've been reading and I love it very much, I hope to understand it a little more I think it's a good project on your part.
Hello friend I've been reading and I love it very much, I hope to understand it a little more I think it's a good project on your part.
Do you have a number of people you share commonalities with? Perhaps other Venezuelan contributors. Can you send the usernames of 1/2 dozen?
Maybe yes, give me a gmail or discord contact?
Just a few names eg @acostaeladio, @cervantes, @sancho.panza etc. Perhaps a couple members of your cervantes collection.
We are about a week away before we will be able to have people sign up to become hosts but would appreciate you communicating the concept.
Steemhost will allow people to aggregate contributors ("Host" a party) with similar interests. For instance I added a few contributors to @eljose27 's steemhost page.
The initial page "Host.aspx" initially appears as but could be relabeled to My Posts or Editorial (or el artículo de fondo) depending upon what label the host wants to display. This page only shows the host's (eg eljose27) posts. The most important feature on this page is that it allows a person to search for post that they may have made previously. For instance, I searched for "steem power" on your steemhost page and found 3 posts (May 3, August 18, August 17). On a personal level I have started using this feature a number of times when I want to track down posts that I made 6 months ago.
A second feature happens when a visitor logs in using steemconnect. This allows our system to let users bookmark posts and bookmark favourite hosts.
The second page of interest is the "Contributor.aspx". This too the "Host" can relabel. It could be Contributor, Collaborator, Columnist, Columnista, Periodista (Sorry I don't speak Spanish). This page has the same search feature as the host page ... however it will scan through each contributors content.
My ultimate goal is to allow people to create their own online magazines... which leads to the third page which is under development. This page would allow the host to select specific posts to be showcased. Jose (@eljose27) has been writing a series of short stories in the "horror" genre. He might showcase his best as well a the best stories written by other authors. It would constrain the list to only those that he would have selected. There are several competitions going on in the steem community. This would allow hosts to create anthologies of these competitions.
The final aspect has to do with introducing the potential to earn additional revenue into the system. The posts that we list on the site open in either steemit.com or busy.org. This will allow people to vote, resteem etc. People will still receive their rewards for authorship and curation. However on steemhost, we want to given an opportunity that has been missed for two other actions. Currently you are rewarded if you author a post, and if you curate posts. There is no reward for people resteeming or reading the posts. Steemhost is a way is similar to resteeming. You draw attention to other people's posts on your blog by resteeming their content. The final aspect will look at increasing the earning potential of both hosts and visitors to their sites.
If you have specific questions, it would be easier to provide you with information.
Venezuelan taxpayers we have
@mariana4ve
@yosme28
@votovzla
@diego18
@Andrades
@elinderzambrano
There is still a long way to go on our side but this will illustrate what we are hoping for:
Contributors
Searching for a phrase "pregunté a mi padre" will search through your contributors posts and pull up all that match.
That's a good project you've got going forward, buddy.
