Hello beautiful people. Hope you all are doing great. Last week, we talked about How Children are provoked to Wrath and we promised to continue with How Parents should relate to their Children. I hope we all get to learn from this.

Set boundaries

So many children go out and come into the house at will. There's no fear of their parents whatsover. This act if not curbed, can make them grow up with it and then they become so wild that they can no longer be corrected.

Discipline them

"Spare the rod and spoil the child" is clearly stated in the Holy book. It is not a sin to beat children. We don't have to beat them like goats before they listen. If you beat with the right hand, embrace with the left. Correction and Discipline in love is a great gain.

Expect Excellence

Its funny to know that when some children come back from school with a result of lets say 25th position,out of 30 people in a class; some gullible parents will say, that at least such child passed 5 people. This is so funny but real. Some just take life as it comes. There is need to buckle up and make sure our children are not at the lower class.
Apart from academically, even spiritually, morally, in their dressing, speech and all, let them put up excellence in all.

They shouldn't be ignorant of God

These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

Deut 6:6-7

Make every teaching you give to your children thorough, make it go deep into their hearts.

Lastly,

Release them unto the Lord

Remember, "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain."

When you get to set boundaries for your children and you discipline them well, there will be little or no stubbornness from the children. Most of the children we see on the streets and everywhere living their lives anyhow, are most likely to have been so stubborn that they left the house just like that. This cannot happen when there is love and discipline in such home.
