MTB Travel Diaries #03 " FAMILY DAY " by @mtbrider21

       Today is sunday and this day is commonly known as family day. Each families has different style in making their Sundays memorable like going to church and ask for blessings, or they will go to a restaurant and eat their favorite food, or just go swimming to ease the heat of the striking sun because it's summer today for tropical country like Philippines. But some families canno't afford high end beaches that has an expensive entrance fee as well as foods. They prefer to go to beaches at cheapiest cost that they could just spend maybe 500 - 1000. 

          As I travel bound to West I saw something. Something that when you saw it, you suddenly felt something right through your heart. Yes, I saw many people swimming to the not so clean yet rocky beaches. This beach is located at the side of the Marcelo, Fernan bridge that connects Mandaue City and Lapu-lapu City. I can saw it through their eyes the joy of feeling contented as well as the longing to swim.

       This beach has no trees that could protect them from having hitted directed to sunlight so they made an artistic yet quality tent to serve as their dining area as well as for resting time. They just cooked their food at the shore for them to serve it new and yet delicious food. 

       Their children is only at the shore to prevent them from getting drowned because their parents are busy preparing the food. Though they are at the shore but still they are happy because they arr not alone. Thye even throw some rocks and sands with their playmate and that made them pissed off. I was just staring at them until they throw pebbles at me so that made me scold at them. They're so unpredictable because they project me a sad face and in just a second, their emotions had changed. Children nowadays!

        Family day is very important for them to tighten the bond between each members. It doesn't matter where you've celebrated it as long as you are happy and complete. Yes, you have celebrated at the exclusive beaches or known restaurant but you feel empty and being disregarded. What matters the most is the presence of each family members and an open topic where you can express yourself. Remember the word family end with "ILY" which means I Love You. So love each other and treat everybody with respect to live a peaceful yet happy family.
