RE: "SteemGigs" Our Steem-Based Freelance MarketPlace Where "EveryOne Has Something To Offer" Is Now On Utopian-io. Join Us In Bringing It To Full-Blown Life.
So true @dayjee. We sure need to pursue our own dreams, taking the bull by the horn, and going all out in faith.
I want to pursue my dreams for several reasons.
- They’re my dreams. I have a personal stake in making them real. Showing them to other people and having them enjoy them validates my experience and brings a bit more of what I value into the world.
- I need a purpose in life. I’m not someone who can be content with an idle life. I have to be doing something in order to be happy. I have to pursue a goal. The best goal I can think of is helping others by pursuing my dreams.
- To have a better life. If I succeed, I will be able to make adjustments in my life to make myself happier. Just because I want to pursue my dreams doesn’t mean that I don’t have more selfish goals as well.
- To make other people’s lives better. I’ve always had the conviction that life should be about helping others and loving them. I haven’t been able to act on it due to my emotional problems, but I still want to.
- Because life is a game and games are more fun with goals. Even mini-achievements can be satisfying. Making dreams come true are level break quests. They’re a big deal. I want to do well at this game.
- I want to be happy. The thing that makes me happiest is dreaming. Logically, sharing my dreams should only help that. If it doesn’t, at least I’ll be able to say I tried before going back to dreaming.
I guess the reason why we have @surpassinggoogle is because he chose to pursue his dreams, one of them which is being able to help others achieve their own dreams.
