Description

Good evening to the great community of steemers who are here to learn, teach and contribute on this great platform. Today I am active once again to continue bringing knowledge to all without any commitment, in this case we will continue the previous post.

📁 continuation of the theme 📁

The following post for those who do not know, is the continuation of https://steemit.com/steemgigs/@fireonxas/tutorial-technology-knowledge-repair-tuner-decoder-movistar-tv-option-12 a post where I talk about how to repair the failure of tuner in The Movistar TV decoders, therefore if you have not read the post I invite you to do so before proceeding with this.

This will not be very long because it is a continuation of a topic that already explains in case they ask the question at the end.

In this case refresh the mind: This is the method N:2 and end to solve in such a case that they do not work 1, this option is used to make our TV receiver can return to receive signal to enjoy the programming.

⚙ Process ⚙

Before performing the repair, must have a receiver equal or different from Movistar TV that is fully operational and receive signal normally. You can search for free signal receiver such as: AZ box, PROBOX like the image above, AZ box BRAVISSIMO, this because we will do a trick to get the damaged tuner from our computer.

One thing to keep in mind is: the receiver that go to use, is configured like Movistar TV, ie put the same configuration to capture the satellite signal used by Movistar. (Must have knowledge about the subject of receivers)

Once the additional receiver is configured to receive the satellite of Movistar (Amazonas) The most important thing is to pay attention to the antenna inputs which dial above.

They will ask that we use the second receiver, what we will do is use the 2 as a power source to lift the signal we want to repair.

All receivers have two signal ports that say: LNB in for the main antenna and Loop out which is the one you see above marked in red to function as emitter, is the one we are going to use.

Photo behind the receiver Movistar damaged by tuner

They should look for the Movistar decoder they want to fix, from behind they should look where it says LNB or LNB IN and LNB OUT.

Let's focus on where it says LNB in.

Connecting the two receivers

They must buy a short coaxial cable like the target of the photo to be able to make the connections that I will tell them.

Connection process: The cable that goes from the main antenna must connect it to the LNB in Port of the second receiver, then the coaxial one that they bought to the loop out port or LNB out in that case.

Next, the other connection of the coaxial cable to the LNB in port of the Movistar decoder that they are going to feed so that it can receive signal by means of the second that is the bridge.

Anyway the image above looks like they go.

Ready, easy not? Really here what is done is to run the tuner by feeding it with another. This process is 90% effective in the Movistar TV receivers. The other 10% is because in others the tuner is totally damaged.

As always, I appreciate the support to the post and content, I always like to share ideas, knowledge and help steemit creating educational content like this.
