#STEEMGIGS: (how-to) — How to update your steemit profile picture.

Not until today, my steemit profile picture has always been blank. No avatar, no objet, no picture, just a blank empty space staring at visitors to my blog. It is not that I don’t love to have a profile picture but as a newbie the truth is that I never knew how to create one.

The simple way of creating profile picture are as follows:

1 -Go to https://postimages.org/ and sign up for an account.

2- A password will be generated and forward to your mail.

3-Use the generated password sent to you to access the site. (https://postimages.org/)

4- The next step is to upload your picture or image from your device by dragging and dropping on the opened page.

5 –Then click share and copy the second URL i.e. Direct Link

6-After this, go to the setting on your steemit account and place the link on your profile picture URL by copy and paste, then click update and refresh the page.

That’s it! You have just successfully updated your profile picture.

Note: This method can also be used to create or update a cover image.

So to the new steemian like me, you needs not worry about your profile pictures anymore, just go ahead and follow the above guidelines.
