Curry Mee, Oyster Omelette, Satay, Chee Cheong Fun and Nasi Goreng Kampung ..... Street food post ... finally!! At NTS Food Court
The spreads will be messy, street foods are meant to be messy in a tasty way 😋. Here we go..
Penang Curry Mee (noodle). The soup based is made of coconut milk with chilli oil, super fragrant which quite stand out. It has squid , cockles , tofu, and the delicious coagulated blood 🩸( definitely an acquired taste)
Oyster Omelette. Cooked with a generous portion of oysters , stirred in a thick batter of flour and egg... cooked to perfection. The end result is a toasty yet gooey oyster texture .. that’s wonderful 🤩
Satay or meat skewers, there’s chicken and lamb meats. The proportion is meat-fat-meat-fat... grilled to perfection👍. Deep it in the chilli peanut sauce , it was sinful yet heavenly 😋
Chee Cheong Fun, flat rice noodle with sweet and chilli sauce ...topped with abit of sesame seed. This is a classic snack, such a nostalgic dish ☺️
Nasi Goreng Kampung , it’s a fried rice with anchovies, kangkung (water spinach) , chicken meats, and sambal belacan . It’s a very local version of fried rice, where the ingredients are very homey. It has the saltiness from the anchovies and slight hint of chilli 🌶 from the sambal belacan... such a warm and home-feel meal 😆
