Utan Bisaya (Mixed Vegetables Soup)

It is another day to be thankful with..
I will share with you on how to cook utan bisaya, the famous healthy dish for Filipino families..
It has a lot of health benefits.
Here’s the ingredients;
- Red Squash
- White Squash or Upo
- Gabi
- Sikwa
- Okra
- Eggplant
- Malunggay or Moringa
- Alugbati or local spinach
- Spring beans
Spices are:
- Tomato
- Spring onions
- Ginger
- Garlic
- Onions
- Salt
- Msg or Ajinomoto
Fried fish
How to Cook;
- Put enough water in the sauceapan. Let it boils.
- Set at medium fire.
- When the water boils, simmer the red and white squash and gabi
- Add the remaining ingredients except for malunggay and alugbati
- When all the vegetables are tender add the fried fish to add flavor
- Seasoned with salt and msg
- Add the malunggay and local spinach and turn off the fire.
- Let the remaining heat cook the green leafy vegetables.
- Taste if flavor is fine
- Serves while the soup is hot.
Eating vegetables is very helpful most especially during this time that everyone is affected by the ongoing pandemic.
