Greetings Steem Flag Supporters!

I know it has been too long so I wanted to take a quick moment to give everyone an update. I've made some progress with the mentions real-time function. I was successfully able to cause it to trigger once but I seem to be experiencing errors with the Discord library for which I will be working through. I am glad it worked once and I just need to make that result consistent. As one person, sometimes these tasks take a bit longer than anticipated so please bear with me. Everything will come together in time but time is a premium right now.

In the meantime, the freesteem campaign posts have finally paid out so participants will be receiving their rewards soon. I have a framework for distribution from the comment contest script (which I might add has been made closed source due to community members concern that it could be repurposed for abuse) which will be tailored for this purpose. It's pretty simple. I just add all the documented rshares together, then calculate the ratio of each downvoter, multiple total SBD rewards by that, and then batch send the transfers.

The Way Ahead

The next campaign will be to finally pull and rewards all flags on @steemflagrewards comment mentions. These rewards will be screened on Steem Moderation Discord so feel free to join. I think that would be the most efficient approach at the current time rather than some lofty juror approach. I would like to reward those that give their feedback especially if the community perceives the flags screened by them as meritorious. If you would like an invite to the server, please ask in the comment and will provide a link.
