Flying from Miami International Airport via TAP Portugal to Lisbon for SteemFest²!

Day #1 of the trip to Lisbon, Portugal for SteemFest² is today! I got an awesome selfie setup with my iPhone plus the equipment listed below which is available on Amazon that allows me to use a tripod to take a picture with a bluetooth remote!

This post and those that follow for the trip will be kind of a diary with my thoughts and pictures which I hope are entertaining! Here I am before I am heading out for the 4 hour drive from Saint Petersburg, Florida to Miami International Airport which I made because it was cheaper and allows more flexibility than flying from Tampa to Miami! On the way I drank 64 ounces or about 2 liters of blended fruits and vegetables. Half of that is in the cup I am holding!

Here is another selfie after arriving in the Flamingo parking garage at 2:20 pm after leaving at about 10:20 am. Smooth drive!

Here is everything I am taking from the two jackets to my backpack. The lady at checkin was impressed I just was taking a backpack :)

You know it is my car by the tacky signs on the side promoting my website which are laying overtop of those for the website I sold.

I was wrong for making this bumper appear so close in the rearview for the thousands of people I tailgated when I used to speed a lot. Today I slow down and aim for the speed limit or about 5 mph over.

I asked if any upgrades were available but there were none which spared them my pitch for why I should get a free upgrade in exchange for doing a post about the trip.

I did this without thinking much.

Then the lady at the counter came to get me because she gave me the wrong change sat which point I decided to ask them to reverse the transaction in favor of selling Steem to Euros. Who wants to sell me a few Euors for Steem at the hackathon?

The terminal is packed here as I type this and I am grateful to have a seat but ready to walk around some also before the eight hour flight. I am planning to try fasting on the plane to see if it helps me fall asleep.

Here is to a safe flight and I will see you tomorrow with my first day of adventures in Lisbon as the rest of my day today will be spent on the overnight flight!
