Community Update: Financial Transparency and Planning for @ssg-Community

As the person entrusted with managing the day-to-day operations and finances of the @ssg-community account, I take great pride in keeping everything running smoothly and maintaining complete transparency. Whenever there’s an unusual transaction or a significant update, I believe it’s important to share the details with all of you, the driving force behind this community.

Recently, I made a payment of 804 STEEM to secure a lease of over 7,000 Steem Power for the entirety of 2024, covering January to December. This investment ensures that our account remains a strong presence on the Steemit platform, with ample voting power to support and reward quality content across the #silvergoldstackers community and beyond.

All transactions are meticulously logged on the blockchain, with memos detailing the purpose of each payment. This level of transparency allows every community member to follow along and hold me accountable for how funds are being allocated.

To maintain financial sustainability, I’ve also initiated a new lease agreement. Regular payments will commence at the end of this month, and to fund this, I’ve started a power down of 500 Steem Power. While curation rewards cover the account's overall running costs, I still require liquid STEEM to manage these payments.

This raises an important question for the community:

• Should I continue performing monthly power downs to fund operations?
• Or would it be beneficial to post more frequently from the @ssg-community account to generate additional liquid STEEM?

Both options have their merits, and I’d love to hear your thoughts on how we can optimise our resources. By either approach, the goal remains the same: to ensure the account remains financially healthy and capable of supporting the community for the long haul.
