RE: What kind of world do we want to live in?
Okay, many things in this comment of yours are new to me... but especially the part about the Chinese documentary didn’t worry me much. Because nothing can replace human touch. It's true that there are many aspects of AI... good and bad things... but in this context, it didn't seem concerning to me.
BUT
ONE thing that has been troubling me day and night, and has become a huge issue in my house... One day, my daughter's tablet (gadget) almost got broken at the hands of her father. It's these senseless videos, these ridiculous shorts... How does one escape them? They're filled with such stupidity, mindless content, and freakish antics that it's hard to believe people even find them entertaining. It's like they're designed to trap attention and make you lose track of time, leaving us battling screens.
that's our intellectual set for the moment on a general level.
It's really frightening and very frustrating!!!
Perhaps we should also not forget that each new generation has its own peculiarities and inclinations, total specificities, perhaps because of this the separate generations can never understand each other and always the older ones, in this case us, 🤭 no matter how much we don't want it, we think that things get worse with time, children do strange and incomprehensible to us things, while when we were young, our parents and grandparents thought the same about us too...
Things change, so do people, so does the world. But to talk to projections of dead people, considering them alive or your idols to be artificial characters that do not exist... to me this is too much and beyond what is possible to perceive. Or maybe I'm getting too old already, faster than I should. 😃
