Greetings, great steemian how is your steemit activities going.
Today I want to participate in this week steemit engagement challenge season 20 week 1 organized by @dove11 @aviral123 with its wonderful topic "My Business Ideas"
Without wasting much time grab a glass of wine as I give an answer to all the topics below.
I'm already in a business, but still in the early stages, I have recently lunch my laundry business and an actively working on growing my customer base and refining my operation to deliver high-quality service.
Before lunching my own personal laundry business I have been working as a laundry guy for 2 years now.
It was not easy starting my own laundry business, it took me time and a whole lot of calculation, but with the experience I had, I was able to overcome it.
So far so good I'm excited about the progress I've made and look fantastic to continuing to severe my customer with excellent laundry service.
My business is based on a solo ownership structure, where I will be the sole proprietorship responsible for making strategic decisions and overseeing daily operations.
It's normal for people to look for partner who will support them in growing up their business, depending on the kind of business the are doing or already in.
Also before partnering with anybody I believe the owner of the business must have been out of funds or he/she is really in need of support to grow.
I don't really value the idea of partnership especially in a laundry business.
I don't want a situation where I will be having issues with my partner or him/she giving me rules on how to run my own business, moreover I'm good at what I do all I need is to stay focus and work it out myself.
Considering the pros and cons of partnership business model, I have decided that a solo ownership structure is the best fit for my laundry business.
So below are some advantages and disadvantages in partnership business.
share risk and responsibility: now you have a partner so you're not the only one taking responsibility of the business, you and your partner will be the one to manage the risk and responsibility of the business.
combined skills and expertise: you will both have to put in your skills, experience and knowledge to the business.
increase funding: you and your partner will have to raise funds for the business, by doing that it will help increase capital for the business.
expanded network: you and your partner are the one promoting the business which will lead to new opportunities and customers.
improved decision-making: when it comes to decision making two head is always better than one, because you and your partner will be able to share your ideas and experience leading to more information decisions.
Conflicting opinion and goals: both partners may have different vision, leading to conflicts and disagreement.
Sharad profit: both partners will have to share anything coming out of the business.
joint and several liability: partners are personally liable for business debts.
potential for dispute: both partners may disagree on management, finance and strategy decision making.
dissolution challenges: ending a partnership can be complex and costly.
As a successful laundry business owner, my long-term plans involve expanding my customer base, increasing revenue, and enhancing services. To achieve this, I'm focusing on the following strategies below 👇
Market research and analysis: I'm conducting market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. This will help me refine my services and target new customers.
Investing in technology: I'm upgrading my equipment and implementing efficient software to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
Staff training and development: I'm committed to training and developing my staff to ensure exceptional customer service, quality work, and efficient processes.
Marketing and advertising: I'm increasing my marketing efforts through social media, local advertising, and promotional campaigns to reach new customers and retain existing ones.
Strategic partnerships: I'm exploring partnerships with complementary businesses, such as dry cleaners, alteration services, or convenience stores, to expand my offerings and reach.
I will prefer to grow my business alone, I'll rely on my own efforts, dedication, and hard work. However, I'm open to seeking professional advice or hiring experts for specific tasks, such as marketing or accounting, to ensure I'm making informed decisions and optimizing my resources.
Before starting up a business make sure you have a good planing to avoid mistake and regret. |
