Whitebait for Christmas

I have been searching for some New Zealand Whitebait so we can have Whitebait Fritters on Christmas day.

The in laws like them as well and today i managed to buy a bag, my partner & kids don't like them either which is fine.

Today on Fakebook marketplace i saw an ad and decided i best act fast, i got 500 grams for $60 NZD.

They were frozen and i put the straight into our freezer for later use.

To make them is a pretty simple process that includes the following, egg's whitebait salt n pepper plus some lemon juice.

Some of you may remember when i went to Perth a few backs, i was walking around Auckland Airport clocking up the steps to and saw the below pictures on the wall there.

Today here we have had a nice Sunny day with some wind, the last few days have been rainy so seeing the sunshine meant that i could walk without getting wet!

With the Sunshine it has been another day of reaching 15 Kilometers broken up in a few smaller walk's.

On Christmas day we will have all the usual stuff like a cooked Ham etc and i think we may even have some fresh salmon as well.

Looking forward to Christmas day and the food!
