Mushroom Fryday ๐๐๐๐๐
We made it to Friday and we have a stunning Sunny day here today, the weather forecast look's promising going forward.
More Sun please and NIL cloudy/rain & wind please.
In our Vegetable garden we planted some Beetroot seeds a couple of months back which were a mixed pack (different coloured Beetroot), here are some we pulled out of the garden yesterday.
We had some Beetroot last week and it was very very nice, i personally like Beetroot and these did not disappear.
The Mushrooms are growing extremely well and we will be sampling these maybe later today or definitely tomorrow.
Once we use this lot then we pierce the bag again on the box and we will get another round of them, then it says put the rest under a tree or in the compost and they will continue to grow.
After an early morning 3.5K walk and then bidding the in laws good bye, i decided a bike ride would be a good thing to do in the Sunshine.
Less wind than yesterday and i only managed 37K today, so thats 81K in the last 2 days of biking.
I am sure i will go for a quick walk later today, that is about all that is happening here today.

Those mushroom grow kits are great; we have a guy who comes to our local farmer's market with mushroom logs that are basically pressed sawdust in log form... we get about 4-5 harvests of shiitakes before it becomes compost.
