Being Productive in a Time of Chaos (number 4)
We complain when it is too hot and when it is too cold. We complain that things are wilting or growing too fast. We also can be happy it is hot enough that food plants flourish and that we have to cut back crops as they are growing too wild. Perspective is everything and taking breaks to ground yourself to try to gain a clear and vivid perspective can be miraculous.
We are like Peas in a Pod!/photograph property of @battleaxe/ Visualize Whirled Peas :)
🧚🧚🧚This peapod popped open to unveil perfect and beautiful peas. I love sayings about being "two or three peas in a pod". Patiently you wait from seed to table is an exercise in having to slow down and take care of things other than yourself.
The picture above is of "Little Marvel" Peas or to get really fancy... Pisum Sativum. You can sow them in early spring and in summer time and even very late summer/early fall to get harvests. They are high in iron, calcium and Vitamin C and taste sweet raw. The pods are tasty too. A bowl of these sauteed with some olive oil and Himalayan salt and some pepper and some Ghee is absolutely delicious.
If you have any questions of starting a garden or growing food on a budget feel free to ask me how you can help be self-sufficient while not spending an arm and a leg. 🧚🧚🧚

Hang in there and stay safe and hopefully we all can find something good/productive to do in a time of chaos. Till next time, I'll be sowin' and growin' :)
