Steem Lighting Africa: Official update #29 [November 16th, 2024]

Hi Goodevening dear donors.

Due to the dollar's recent price surge, the project's wire and battery costs are expected to rise significantly by next week. My manager suppliers alerted him to this price hike.

To escape this, he will carry out one week power down on @steemelectricals account to purchase the remaining components.

He will also use this opportunity to fabricate a less cost solar panel mounting structure, as roof installation has become too expensive due to DC cable costs.

Initially, mounting them on the storey building's roof was less expensive, but the current cost of DC cables for panel connections has made it expensive now.

So the best would be going for the panel mounting structure, like what we have below, but a bigger one :

Hopefully, this project would be install and launched first week December, 2024.
