Being it's Labor day weekend...

Everyone has a Recipe that's healthy they labor over for themselves or family.
My Dad taught me one that I have modified for it and I can cont wait to Blog it to you....
That labor of a loving dish is subject for this Contest.

So this first blogger or video blogger event for season 2.

It will show off your your talents 4 ways:

	1 The Ability to take pictures / videos
2 Your mentoring / teaching style
	3 Story telling
4 Food Preparation / Cooking
Since everyone on the SteemIt community (except for the BOTS) eats.

And let's be clear, if your like me, needs to
either monitor their intake and eat healthier.

The first event will be give you 4 days to present a tasty healthy version of one of one your favorite recipes....
So here are the rules:

Every participant must complete all the tasks in this list for their entry to be valid.

1. If you violate any of the instructions in this list your entry will not be valid.

2. upvote and resteem this post, and follow me before you put your entry in, so we can get your friends invited, build the reward pool, and so you know when the next event winners are announced.

3. Setup a Blog Post with the following Title:
   "SteemDecathlon S02D2E01 "In the Weeds" - Theme - 'Labor of Love" - Food Photo Recipe Contest"
   And set the first tag #steemdecathlon

4. Make sure the first picture is a beautiful picture of your completed recipe (the more it makes one salavate the better!)

5. I will except either a vlog (video or set of videos) or a blog post for a healthy recipe with some backstory....Talk about family or where you first had it or why you like it, what it reminds you of....

6. DON'T WANT JUST A RECIPE WITH INSTRUCTIONS.... If you can work in a trick or technique or special info not commonly known, you will be way ahead.

7. This is not the time to enter a dish which is made up of the following

deep frying heavy use of salt lots of cane sugar More than a palm of red or processed meats Poly unsaturated fats

8. in addition to the ingredient list, you should tell us all devices, containers, cooking vessals with sizes which will be needed.

9. I will also need the following which you can calculate from the ingredients: Number of Servings Serving Size Calories a serving Sodium a serving in Mg **** If you can do fiber and carbohydrates that would be a bonus.

10. The submission must be in English, if you want to do it in a second languages if I can get someone to proof the second language version I will give you twice as many participation points!

11.. I will announce the winners 6 days from now and the reward pool distribution will come at 7 days when the upvote rewards on this post are sent to me.

12. There is extra credit participation points to be earned for community building!

the extra credit information is for each of your entries you upvote someone else's blog post of either a food pic or recipe on SteemIt that is not part of this contest. and let them know you did it as part of the contest.

By saying: something like "I liked your food so much I upvoted you as a response to the Steem Decathlon Contest, keep up the good work. You should join in this would be a good entry."

To be valid, you must write in the same reply on the posting as your submission with the label "for extra credit" followed up the link to listing you upvoted.

13) The top 3 places will split the reward pool for this event 50, 30 , 20 (you can only win one reward per event).

14. I will announce the winners a few days after it is over in a post with the words [RESULT] infront of the title. The reward pool distribution will come out shortly after 7 days when the upvote rewards on this post are sent to me.

15. The entries will be excepted only till 4 days from today at 10:30 am e.s.t on 9/6/2016.

I declare the SteemIt Decathlon Event 3 open.
